What is OneKey?

OneKey makes hardware wallets and self-custody software for crypto assets across more than 100 chains and 30,000 coins and tokens. Its Classic 1S range includes a battery-powered model, a battery-free Pure model and a Bitcoin-only edition. The company says its firmware and apps are open source, with SlowMist audits and reproducible builds.

Company and funding

OneKey was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong. Yishi Wang is the founder and CEO. The company completed a Series B round in April 2026 at a $150 million valuation, led by YZi Labs. Other backers named on the company website include Coinbase Ventures, Dragonfly Capital and Ribbit Capital.

How the wallets work

The devices keep signing keys in self-custody while the OneKey app handles portfolio access, DeFi, NFTs and dApp connections. The browser extension connects the hardware wallet to decentralized applications and browser wallets. Classic 1S has an EAL6+ secure element, Bluetooth, USB-C and an OLED display. Onboarding can take place offline. Clear Signing and Sign Guard are designed to show transaction details and flag signing risks before approval.

Classic 1S Pure has no battery, so it avoids charging and battery degradation. The Bitcoin Edition is limited to Bitcoin and includes Clear Signing Preview. The wider software platform supports networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Aptos.

Prices and access

OneKey Classic 1S costs $99. Classic 1S Pure and the Classic 1S Pure Bitcoin Edition each cost $79. The OneKey KeyTag add-on costs $59, while wallet onboarding costs $99. Global or international shipping is free on orders over $99.

Track record and risks

OneKey lists SlowMist audits for the Classic 1S series. In October 2026, Classic, Pro, Touch, Mini and Classic 1S firmware passed all 10 reproducibility tests in an independent review. In July 2026, OneKey ended CryptoBilis's authorized-reseller status after reports of unauthorized hardware sold through that reseller. Buyers of OneKey devices purchased there from March 1, 2026 through October 12, 2026 can apply for a free replacement by December 31, 2026.

Buying through an unauthorized reseller creates supply-chain risk, even when the device itself has security hardware and open-source firmware. Physical possession remains important for recovery, and losing the device and its recovery material can prevent access to funds.

OneKey sells hardware wallets for offline key storage and pairs them with a self-custody app and browser extension. Its strongest documented point is transparency: the firmware and software are open source, reproducible builds are available, and the firmware has been audited by SlowMist. Recent reproducibility testing found that OneKey Classic, Pro, Touch, Mini and Classic 1S passed all 10 tests.

The Classic 1S uses an EAL6+ secure element, an OLED display, Bluetooth and USB-C. It supports more than 100 chains and 30,000 coins and tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Solana and XRP. The Classic 1S Pure removes the battery, while the Bitcoin Edition is limited to Bitcoin. Clear signing and Sign Guard add transaction-review controls.

Classic 1S costs $99, while Classic 1S Pure and its Bitcoin Edition cost $79. Battery-free models avoid charging and battery degradation, but they give up battery-powered use.

OneKey was founded in 2019, is based in Hong Kong, and is led by founder and CEO Yishi Wang. YZi Labs led its Series B at a $150 million valuation in April 2026. The CryptoBilis incident is a material supply-chain concern. OneKey ended that reseller relationship in July 2026 after reports of unauthorized hardware and offered eligible buyers free replacements through December 31, 2026.

OneKey suits long-term self-custody holders who want open-source firmware, a secure element and broad chain coverage. Buyers who want a Bitcoin-only device can choose the $79 model.

Built for the future. Quantum-ready.

Built with quantum-resistant cryptography, OneKey Pro 2's architecture is designed for post-quantum standards, with room for advanced security capabilities.

Today, firmware signature checks at startup use quantum-resistant cryptography.

Quantum upgrades for on-chain assets are still underway. OneKey will follow fast.

Binance has confirmed: user funds are safe.

Binance says all losses from the security incident late on October 29 (UTC) will be covered by its SAFU fund and company funds. CZ also posted: "User funds are SAFU!" Based on public on-chain data and official statements, we've put together what happened 👇

🔍 What happened
The attacker started preparing two days earlier. At 20:20 UTC, a single transaction sent 50 EIP-7702 authorizations to a Binance hot wallet. One took effect, and within minutes the wallet's assets were swept out in batches. Binance estimates the total impact at around $6.3B.

📌 Response and latest update
Tether, Circle, Ripple, Paxos, Arbitrum and others froze related assets, and about $3B has been frozen on-chain so far. Binance's initial investigation suggests a compromised engineer's laptop may have let the attacker submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions, with no evidence of a wallet private key leak. Binance later said it found additional points of breach, and that outflows stopped once withdrawals were paused. Deposits are operating normally. Withdrawals have not resumed yet; please follow Binance's official announcements for timing.

🔐 Two things worth remembering
1. Assets can be moved even when private keys are safe. This incident points to the signing and approval process, not the private keys themselves, and not a smart contract bug. Always verify transaction details on a trusted device, not just on a web page.
2. EIP-7702 authorizations are powerful. EIP-7702 is a legitimate feature that enables batched transactions and gas sponsorship. But once you sign an authorization, your wallet's operations are handed to a program until the authorization is revoked.

Over the next few days:
1. Follow updates only through Binance's official channels
2. Don't click any "compensation" or "refund" links
3. Check what you sign, and reject any 7702 authorization request you don't understand

Information as of 08:47 UTC on October 30. We'll keep following this.
