This page explains how we research, rate and update listings.

Sources

We use the provider's own website and documentation, public on-chain and market datasets, regulator registers and reputable reporting. Each listing shows when it was last updated.

AI assistance

Drafts and summaries are produced with AI models. Every AI draft goes through an automated quality check that flags filler, hype and unsupported claims, and facts the model could not tie to a source are marked as unverified or hidden. Images on review pages are illustrations, not product photos.

Ratings

Editorial scores are weighted averages of category-specific criteria, such as fees, security and ease of use for exchanges. User reviews are written by real visitors, moderated for spam and abuse, and never written or edited by us to change their meaning.

Advertising and affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links and some placements are marked as sponsored. Payments do not change editorial scores, and sponsored placements are always labelled.

If you spot an error, contact us and we will review it, usually within a few working days.
