Triple-A is a Singapore-headquartered payment institution that lets businesses accept and send stablecoins while settling in local currencies. Founded in 2017, the company targets enterprise checkout, cross-border payouts and treasury flows rather than consumer wallets.
Company and leadership
Triple-A is headquartered in Singapore. Eric Barbier is its CEO and founder. Kailash Madan is its Chief Commercial Officer, and the company also identifies Miles Kubota, Ben Hewitt and Sing Jie in business and partnership roles. Triple-A says more than 1,000 enterprises use its stablecoin payment infrastructure.
How the gateway works
Businesses can connect Triple-A through APIs and choose which parts of the payment flow to use. The service covers stablecoin checkout, business-to-business invoice payments, wallet top-ups, trading-account funding, gift-card funding and global payouts. Payout recipients can receive stablecoins or local currencies.
Triple-A says merchants do not hold digital currency on their balance sheets. The platform handles the digital-currency flow and can settle merchants in local currency. Its site describes support for customers in more than 140 countries, but does not list supported coins or blockchain networks in the product information available here. A self-hosted option is not available.
Fees and availability
Triple-A describes lower processing fees and faster movement than traditional payment methods, but its public product information does not state a processing fee. The company says it is licensed in the US, EU and Singapore.
Track record and controls
The company’s domain was first archived in January 2019. In September 2026, Triple-A said it had helped more than 1,000 enterprises accept and pay out in stablecoins. Its website says the operation runs under SOC 2 Type II certified controls. Triple-A received the Best Stablecoin Payment Infrastructure award at the Global Onchain Awards 2026 in October 2026.
Risks and limits
The model creates counterparty exposure while funds move through a regulated provider. A merchant also depends on Triple-A’s licences and operating access in each payment corridor. Stablecoin prices can vary before settlement, while an incorrect blockchain payment is generally irreversible. The service removes chargebacks from crypto payments, but refunds remain under the merchant’s control. Supported assets, networks, processing fees and settlement timing need to be agreed during onboarding.
