Bleap is a self-custodial crypto account with a Mastercard debit card for spending stablecoins and other crypto online, in shops and at ATMs. The app also supports transfers, savings and crypto trading. Its headline cashback rate reaches 20%, while card issuance, maintenance and monthly fees are listed as €0, with no foreign exchange fee.
Bleap Ltd is headquartered in London and was founded in 2023 by co-founders Joao Alves and Guilherme Gomes, both former Revolut employees. Alves previously led Revolut’s card program. Bleap raised a $2.3 million pre-seed round led by Ethereal Ventures in November 2024, with Maven11, Alliance DAO and Robot Ventures among the participants. Blossom Capital led a $6 million seed round in January 2026. Angel investors included executives from Revolut, Phantom, OKX, EigenLayer and Consensys.
The wallet is self-custodial, so the on-chain balance funds the card without a conventional custodial account. Users can spend fiat currencies or supported crypto after conversion in the app. Bleap says cashback is paid automatically in USDC to the on-chain balance after a purchase is confirmed. The app supports Arbitrum, Base and Solana, and later added trading across Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain. Crypto trading covers more than 18,000 tokens and has no trading fee listed by Bleap.
Card issuance and maintenance fees are €0, and there is no monthly fee. Bleap lists 0% foreign exchange fees and no FX markups. ATM withdrawals have no Bleap fee worldwide up to €400 per month, although the ATM operator can charge separately. Availability covers Europe, Mexico and Brazil. The Brazilian account supports BRL-to-EUR transfers through PIX. The EU service operates through Bleap SIA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bleap Ltd.
Bleap SIA holds CASP licence No. 27-55/2026/14 under MiCA, granted by Latvijas Banka on 25 June 2026. The licence covers exchanging crypto-assets for funds and other crypto-assets. Bleap reported more than 20,000 users and over $30 million in transaction volume during 2025. Its product range expanded in 2026 with an EUR Vault and additional chain support.
Cashback can reach 20%, but the rate and eligible spending depend on the applicable offer, and rewards paid in USDC remain tied to a crypto account.

Bleap combines self-custody, Mastercard spending and high advertised cashback, but regional coverage and changing reward terms weaken the proposition.
Bleap is a Mastercard debit card linked to a self-custodial wallet, so spending starts from an on-chain balance rather than a custodial exchange account. The card is available across Europe, Mexico and Brazil. EU access runs through Bleap SIA, which holds CASP license No. 27-55/2026/14 under MiCA, granted by Latvijas Banka on 25 June 2026.
Bleap lists €0 card issuance, €0 card maintenance and €0 monthly fees, with 0% FX fees and no FX markups. ATM withdrawals carry no Bleap fee worldwide up to €400 per month, although the ATM operator may charge separately. Crypto trading has no trading fee.
Cashback is more unusual. Bleap advertises up to 20%, paid in USDC directly to the on-chain balance, while earlier product material describes cashback of up to 2%. Recent offers include 20% on services such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Netflix and Prime, with Bleap saying it subsidises those rewards. The headline rate therefore depends on the purchase category and current offer, rather than applying as a simple uncapped rate to every card payment. USDC avoids the volatility of a native reward token, but rewards can still change or be capped.
The app supports Arbitrum, Base and Solana, and trading covers more than 18,000 tokens. It also includes saving plans advertised at up to 8% APY or AER, plus a EUR Vault launched in October 2026.

Specific praise is limited, with users mentioning Apple Pay functionality and generally positive card or app impressions. Complaints focus mainly on slow support, delayed funding or reviews, restrictions around transfers, and concerns about private-key control.
“He figured it it out i PM him he just western union himself the money using Apple Pay with the Bleap card.. Rhey had the best exchange rates like close to exactly what is is and is basically no fees”
“Any ideas to get money out in Thailand? For some reason ATM spits out my card, and saying my card is blocked when I was at the bank.. I’m in Thailand and left my wallet with all my cards so the only card I have now is the Bleap card.. I write Bleap support in the app but She is not answering..”
“IBAN not made All is working onky ita not generating an IBAN, preventing me from putting money on the account. It says it takes a couple of minutes, but at the moment it already takes 1,5 week. And it took support 7 days to answer my issue with an answer that didnt help me anything.”
“Manual reviews and poor support I recently opened a Bleap account and got it verified with KYC. On paper the service sounds amazing, small to no fees, non-custodial wallet, free bridging, cashback, etc.”
“False advertising? I found a Bleap ad that said you can buy GTA6 with up to 60% cashback, so I was interested and did some digging. What I found out is, that Bleap offers 20% CB on gaming subscriptions ONLY (PS+, Game Pass, etc.) Did someone try it? What's your experience?”
“Non-Custodial I read them touting non-custodial in their marketing, mentioning it on the website, in the app and during conferences. However, the way it is implemented is this: \-You only get the public address of the Arbitrum account they create for you.”
