Crypto payment card with 2% assetback by default and up to 3% in selected assets
Bitget Wallet Card is a crypto payment card from Bitget Wallet. Users top it up with assets such as USDT, USDC, ETH and SOL, then spend wherever Visa or Mastercard is accepted. The card offers 2% assetback by default. New users and cardholders who meet a monthly spending threshold can receive up to 3%.
Applications are submitted in the Bitget Wallet app under Wallet > Card. Identity verification is required, and approval can take as little as one minute when the submitted information is complete. After activation, users top up the card from the wallet and spend through supported payment networks.
Assetback is paid in one selected asset. Options include BTC, gold, US stocks such as NVIDIA, Google, Tesla and the S&P 500, or USDC. The reward asset can be changed once per calendar month, no later than 23:59 UTC+8 on the final day of the month. Certain merchant category codes, refunded transactions and cancelled transactions do not qualify.
The card has no annual fee or monthly card fee. Bitget Wallet says the monthly assetback allowance typically covers top-up and currency-conversion fees. Standard fees apply after that allowance is exceeded. The upgrade threshold for the 3% rate is $200–$400 in monthly spending, depending on card type and region.
Assetback replaced the previous global rewards model on August 1, 2026. The base rate is 2%, while the Booster Tier pays 3% to new users or qualifying spenders. The reward is an asset rather than a fixed cash payment, so its value depends on the selected asset.
The card is available across 50+ countries and regions, including the EEA, the UK, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Physical cards are currently offered in Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand and the Philippines. Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay are supported. Users can also make online or in-store payments through Visa or Mastercard.
Card issuing partners vary by region. The applicant’s location therefore determines the counterparty and applicable card terms. Identity verification is required, and availability depends on local support. Assetback excludes some merchant categories and has a monthly allowance. The 3% rate requires a spending condition outside the default tier.
Card services underwent maintenance on October 17, 2026. During the maintenance, users could temporarily be unable to view balances, access card details or submit new applications before service resumed. Losing a wallet seed phrase leaves an activated card usable for spending, but prevents top-ups, withdrawals, card-account recovery and restoration of wallet assets.
Bitget Wallet Card offers broad stablecoin spending and assetback rewards, but regional issuer differences and allowance-based fees make costs less predictable.
Bitget Wallet Card is a debit card issued through Bitget Wallet, with Visa or Mastercard acceptance depending on the card and region. It supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as PayPal and Alipay, and the company claims acceptance at 150M merchants worldwide. Physical cards are available in nine listed Asia-Pacific markets, while virtual availability covers more than 50 countries and regions.
The rewards model is a clear strength. Cardholders receive 2% assetback by default, while new users and qualifying spenders can reach 3% after a monthly spending threshold of $200–$400, depending on card type and region. Rewards can be paid in BTC, gold, US stocks including NVIDIA, Google, Tesla and S&P 500, or USDC. Selected merchant categories, refunds and cancelled transactions do not qualify.
The card has no annual fee or monthly card fee. Top-up and currency conversion costs are typically covered within the monthly assetback allowance, with standard fees applying after that allowance. The allowance structure is a weakness for users whose spending or top-up pattern falls outside the qualifying rules. ATM pricing is also less clear in the public product material. A third-party review reports a 1% withdrawal fee with a $5 minimum and says ATM withdrawals sit outside the monthly zero-fee quota.
Top-ups support USDT, USDC, ETH and SOL, while local stablecoins were added to onchain checkout in October 2026. KYC is required during application. Card issuing partners vary by region, so the legal counterparty and card terms vary by region. The wallet connection creates a specific recovery trade-off: a card can keep spending after loss of wallet access, but top-ups, withdrawals, card-account recovery and wallet-asset restoration are unavailable.
Bitget Wallet has operated under the Bitget Wallet name since 2018. Card services underwent maintenance on October 17, 2026, after balance viewing, card details and new applications were temporarily affected. The product suits people who already hold supported crypto and want card payments with asset-based rewards.
