About Arrington Capital
Arrington Capital is a venture capital firm based in Miami, Florida. Founded in 2017 as Arrington XRP Capital, the firm operates through Arrington Capital Investment Management, LLC. It was started by Michael Arrington, Heather Harde, and Geoffrey Arone, with Taryn Naidu later joining as partner and chief operating officer.
Investment strategy and funds
The firm takes a thesis-driven approach to digital assets, focusing on early-stage rounds across layer-1 blockchains, cross-chain messaging, decentralized finance, and prediction platforms. Over its operating history, it has backed more than 200 early-stage crypto startups. Its managed vehicles include the Arrington XRP Capital Fund and the Arrington Capital Offshore Fund, which hold pooled capital dedicated to token investments and equity rounds.
Notable investments
Arrington Capital frequently acts as a lead or early backer in core infrastructure rounds. In November 2023, the firm led a $225 million private funding round for cross-chain protocol Wormhole, following an initial round in September 2021. It also led a $15 million Series A round for modular oracle network RedStone in July 2024 and co-led a $10 million private token sale for lending protocol Moonwell in March 2022. Other notable portfolio companies include liquid restaking provider ether.fi, cross-chain network Axelar, prediction market Limitless, and decentralized betting infrastructure provider Azuro.
In October 2026, the firm participated in backing Serva Mind and supported the public listing milestone for Evernorth.
