Onramper
Fiat on-ramp aggregator connecting one integration to 30+ providers and 175+ payment methods
What is Onramper?
Onramper is a fiat-to-crypto aggregator for wallets, exchanges and other apps. One integration connects a business to more than 30 onramp providers, 175+ payment methods and coverage across 190+ countries. Its routing system selects a provider using factors such as location, payment method, fees, expected conversion and KYC friction.
Who is behind it
Thijs Maas is Onramper’s CEO. Maurits Dewina and Rick Thomas became co-CEOs in June 2026.
How the integration works
Businesses can add a plug-and-play widget or build a native flow with the Headless Ramps SDK and API. The network supports more than 1,500 cryptocurrencies, with current company materials also citing access to more than 2,000 digital assets across 190+ countries. Supported payment methods include cards and bank transfers, as well as local options. Ramp Network was added in January 2026, bringing cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay, Pix and instant bank transfers to its integration.
The same platform offers crypto-to-fiat offramp flows, cross-chain swaps and Terminal analytics. Partners can review transaction volumes, KYC completions, settlement times and fee breakdowns. The underlying ramp provider handles the customer’s payment and compliance process. Approval and delivery therefore depend on that provider’s policies.
Fees and availability
Onramper generally adds no separate fee for end users. The final cost still depends on the selected provider’s quote, payment method, spread and regional requirements. The company says its routing considers fees and KYC friction when choosing an option.
Coverage reaches more than 190 countries, with payment methods and assets varying by location. KYC requirements are set by the selected ramp. Onramper says its routing can reuse KYC across ramps and can direct smaller transactions to providers with lighter requirements, but a payment can still fail or enter a compliance review.
Track record and risks
Onramper partnered with Trust Wallet in October 2025 to provide purchases across more than 190 countries and 130+ local payment methods. It announced a Moonshot partnership in April 2026, adding access to more than 180 local payment methods across over 190 countries. In July 2026, its purchasing flow went live inside Guarda Wallet on web and Android.
The aggregator reduces the engineering burden of maintaining many ramp integrations, but it adds dependence on third-party payment, banking and compliance partners. Card fees and spreads can vary, regional coverage can change, and payments can be rejected, reversed or held for KYC.

Our review
Onramper offers broad payment coverage through one integration, but its routing still depends on third-party providers, their fees, KYC decisions and regional availability.
Onramper is an aggregator for apps, wallets and exchanges rather than a standalone checkout provider. One integration connects to 30+ onramps and 175+ payment methods, including cards and bank transfers. Local methods are also available.
Onramper lists 190+ countries and 1,500+ cryptocurrencies. Its current network includes Ramp Network, which adds cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay, Pix and instant bank transfers across 110+ tokens and 40+ blockchains. Exact availability depends on the selected provider, country and asset.
Routing is the main product advantage. Onramper evaluates more than 70 factors, including conversion likelihood and price, then selects a provider for the transaction. KYC friction is another factor. Its Terminal gives partners reports on transaction volumes, KYC completions, settlement times and fee breakdowns. The end-to-end experience remains dependent on third-party onboarding, payment acceptance and settlement. Failed or reversed card payments, KYC holds and different spreads can still occur after routing.
Onramper generally adds no fee on top of the provider's rate and earns referral fees from partner onramps. That can reduce integration work, but it does not make every transaction cheap: the underlying provider sets its quote and fees. Terms therefore vary by route.
The product has been operating on a domain registered in 2020 and is currently run by co-CEOs Maurits Dewina and Rick Thomas. Onramper has announced integrations with Guarda Wallet and UltApp and partnerships with Moonshot and Trust Wallet. The compliance model rests on the underlying onramps, which handle KYC and licensing. Wallets and exchanges can use the service to offer many payment options without maintaining separate integrations.
