Founded in 2021 by Carlos Prada and Isabella Händel, Masterblox is a Web3 accelerator and growth consultancy based in Lisbon, Portugal. The firm operates as a modular growth partner rather than a traditional pooled venture fund, combining advisory services, direct support, and community distribution to help early-stage blockchain protocols scale.

Acceleration and operational model

Masterblox assists teams across decentralized finance, Web3 infrastructure, and consumer applications. Its operational framework integrates campaign development, content production, and community management. Rather than providing purely passive capital, the accelerator embeds directly alongside founding teams to handle distribution sprints and reputational monitoring through proprietary systems such as its Mechanica intelligence tools.

A core element of the firm's model is ecosystem connectivity. Masterblox maintains integrations and commercial relationships across a network of crypto organizations, having announced formal collaborations with Chainlink Labs, BNB Chain, and MetaMask Institutional. In February 2024, the accelerator partnered with DeFi protocol BlockGuard to support blockchain integrations and community rollout initiatives.

Ecosystem expansion and updates

Alongside its European presence, Masterblox expanded its reach into the United Arab Emirates. In February 2026, the firm introduced Masterblox Bridge, an execution framework intended to simplify advisory services and speed up partner introductions for scaling startups. It also rolled out an updated operational structure to better align mainstream corporate discipline with native Web3 marketing execution.
