Jsquare is a venture capital firm based in Singapore, founded in 2021 by Chairman and Chief Investment Officer James Wo, who also founded Digital Finance Group. The research-oriented firm manages about $200 million in assets, deploying capital into early-stage blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance, and consumer-facing applications.
In April 2025, Jsquare launched its $50 million Pioneer Fund. The fund targets real-world assets (RWAs) and consumer applications. Beyond capital deployment, the firm provides portfolio teams with hands-on strategic guidance on tokenomic design, marketing, and growth strategy alongside internal leadership such as Chief Legal Officer Li Xu and partner Dinghan.
Jsquare has invested in dozens of blockchain teams. Notable portfolio companies include Chainbase, joining its $15 million Series A round in July 2024, and Mint Blockchain, participating in its $5 million Seed round in May 2024. Other investments include Cookie3, GamerBoom, Chomp, Rocket, Minion Labs, and StarSharks. In October 2026, the firm publicly supported Walapay, which builds its own payment infrastructure and local payment rails to reduce intermediaries.
